A historic day at XXLKW – The first E-Actros for Saxony-Anhalt!

On February 5, 2025, we had the pleasure of experiencing a very special event at our XXL truck parking lot in Vockerode: The ceremonial handover of the first four all-electric Mercedes-Benz E-Actros in the whole of Saxony-Anhalt to the company Schade Logistik from Jessen (Elster) by the Mercedes dealership Peter. An important milestone for electric mobility in heavy goods transport – and we were able to be there live!

A special day full of exciting encounters

Of course, we were not the only ones interested in this innovative step. Numerous guests and industry experts came together for this special occasion:

While the E-Actros were being charged at the Milence superchargers on our XXL truck Secure Parking Elbebrücke , there were exciting discussions about the future of electric mobility in heavy goods transport. Our store provided everyone present with delicious snacks and hot coffee so that we could exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.

First test drives with the E-Actros – an impressive experience

Of course, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to experience the new vehicles in action. We took the modern E-Actros for a spin on our premises and were impressed by the smooth running and driving comfort of the new tractor units. A real experience that showed us once again how the transport industry will/could change in the future.

A perfect finish in the Alberts Treibhaus

After the successful event, all participants went to our neighboring Restaurant Alberts Treibhauswhere we rounded off the day with a small but delicious buffet. Conversations continued in a stylish atmosphere – a wonderful end to an unforgettable day.
